Lindberg’s new “Visionary By Design” campaign celebrates the modern minimalist

Since its inception in 1986, Danish brand Lindberg has quickly and steadily built an ironclad reputation for producing quality glasses that last a lifetime. Founded by architect Henrik Lindberg and his optometrist father Poul-Jørn Lindberg, the brand was acquired by luxury giant Kering in 2021, placing it alongside other industry heavyweights such as Gucci, Cartier, Saint Laurent, and more. Boasting cutting-edge innovation and state-of-the-art materials including titanium, gold, platinum, buffalo horn, fine wood, and diamonds, the brand has amassed 112 internationally-recognised design awards to date, solidifying itself as a powerhouse in the eyewear market.

In line with the release of its latest eyewear campaign, Lindberg has officially named acclaimed Chinese actor Jackson Yee as its first global brand ambassador. Yee—an ex-member of the Chinese boy band TFBoys and currently a reputable solo artist and actor—takes center stage in the new “Visionary By Design” campaign, donning a pair from the brand’s thintanium collection that boasts an ultra-sleek and lightweight frame.

Shares Yee of this partnership in the brand’s official press release: “To me, eyewear is a very distinctive and systematic expression of style. While the design reflects the brand’s style, it is also important to personalise the details. Choosing your favorite eyewear is a way of echoing and adding to your personal attributes.” He adds that being a creative visionary means “thinking beyond conventional boundaries, and having the determination to really push those boundaries”, all values and traits that perfectly align with the design ethos of Lindberg.

The campaign also spotlights various other personalities wearing personalised Lindberg frames, each through soft imagery that captures the authenticity and intimacy exhibited between wearer and the glasses. It also underscores how each purchase can be tailored to an individual’s liking, through a personalisation program that differentiates the brand from its competitors. From customising the groove detailing and colour on each frame to adjusting the precise fit of the temples and nose pads, each pair is moulded to one’s exact tastes and preferences, with no two pairs being identical. The end result is one for the modern-day minimalist, a stylish purveyor who appreciates design and quality above all else.
