‘A bedroom idea for 2025 is working the same pattern into multiple planes of the room, for instance, in drapery fabric, upholstery, and walls,’ Wendy explains. ‘It helps even a small space feel cohesive and full of character.’ Florals, stripes, or even subtle geometric prints can all work beautifully, especially when applied to walls, curtains, bedding, and upholstery in varying scales.
Jenna Kincaid, creative director at Lulu & Georgia agrees.’ A lot more layering and a lot of pattern play is on our radar at the moment,’ she explains. ‘We’re loving maximalist bedrooms that mix prints like florals and stripes. We also really love a bedroom that’s pattern drenched, using the same pattern on the walls, bed, headboard, etc. It’s a playful, vintage-inspired aesthetic that’s so fun.’
